Lori completed her 200 hr Yoga Teacher Training in 2015 at Great Heart Yoga in Olympia, WA. In 2016, she became certified by Yoga Trapeze Teacher Training at YOGABODY in Barcelona Spain.
Last year, she opened two studios in Olympia, Washington: an indoor venue located in the middle of downtown Olympia and a summertime trapeze yoga garden nearby.
Lori teaches as many as 20 scheduled trapeze and traditional sessions per week. Since many of her students are beginners, Lori is inspired to make yoga and yoga trapeze accessible to anyone who wants to try. In addition, she instructs private, group and celebrations throughout the week.
In the warmer weather Lori augments her practice with sessions of Stand Up Paddle Yoga and SUP adventures in Olympia Harbor.
At age 19, Lori began her own yoga practice as well as a career in carpentry. After 30 years of each she has managed to keep herself flexible, strong and healthy, mitigating many of the typical injuries of construction workers.
Lori is the mother of twins who are equally drawn to yoga. She considers them to be her Yin and Yang twins. Lori brings a wealth of experience, compassion, and knowledge to her students. She would say that the most important aspect of her work is to inspire her students to be conscious in their body, connected to their breathing, and to take care of themselves… simple tools for a fun, energized, healthy life.
